Alex Childs, Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc), and Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C), provides healthcare services at the Grantsville location of Mountain West Medical Group. Alex focuses on delivering evidence-based care and making sure each patient receives the attention they need. Alex has a special interest in genetic screening for hereditary cancer risk, and pharmacogenetic (PGx) testing and offers both right here in Tooele County.

Getting to Know Alex Childs:
Outside of his work in medicine, Alex enjoys spending quality time with his wife and children. Together, they take part in a variety of adventurous outdoor activities, including camping, hiking, and mountaineering.
Alex also has a wide range of personal interests. He enjoys writing novels, and when he's not exploring the mountains, he can often be found scuba diving, rock climbing, or skiing. His love for both creativity and the outdoors reflects the balance he brings to his professional and personal life.
He seems to genuinely care about his patients.
He goes out of his way for the Streeters medical needs, which I think is awesome and very impressive.
