Austin Fackler is a Certified Nurse Practitioner working in the Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Clinic. Austin has several years of experience working as a registered nurse at Mountain West Medical Center in the Emergency Department, Med/Surg Unit, and as a House Supervisor. Having worked in the ER, orthopedic cases were his favorite and is ready to dive deeper into this specialty working alongside of and with the expertise of Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Jake Daynes.
Austin’s healthcare philosophy is to treat every patient that walks through the door as if that patient were his friend or family member. His desire is to provide a caring and compassionate experience while helping them through the healing process. Austin has always wanted to take on the role of a healthcare provider and to use his knowledge skills, and training to make critical decisions.
Austin was raised in a few different small towns in Arizona. He moved to St. George his senior year of high and school and his parents still live there. Austin kind of claims St. George as his hometown. His wife, Summer, was born and raised in Tooele and it has been nice to be close to her family and friends. Austin loves the small-town atmosphere while having a bigger city close by. He enjoys the many great people in the Tooele Valley and they have made a lot of great friends in the area.
