Mountain West Medical Center has partnered with University of Utah Health to provide local access to neurosurgery and back, neck and spine conditions in the Tooele Valley. This local access means more convenient treatment, shorter travel times, and the benefit of staying close to home and family support throughout the care process.
Dr. Clyde offers evaluation and treatment for a range of conditions affecting the spine, back and neck. As part of an integrated care team, we coordinate with neurologists, radiologists, pain specialists, and other providers to develop individualized treatment plans that address each patient’s specific needs.

Common conditions seen and treated by Dr. Clyde include:
- Neck and back pain (acute or chronic)
- Herniated discs and sciatic nerve-related pain (radiculopathy)
- Pinched nerves causing arm or leg pain
- Spinal stenosis
- Degenerative spine conditions
- Lumbar and cervical disc disease
- Spondylolisthesis of the lumbar spine
- Spinal fractures
- Subdural hematomas
Symptoms to Watch For
Patients with the following symptoms may benefit from an evaluation with Dr. Clyde:
- Pain radiating to the arm, hand, or leg
- Numbness, tingling, or weakness in the arms or legs
- Discomfort near the shoulder blades or neck
- Lower back pain that includes pressure or radiating discomfort
- Changes in balance or walking, such as unsteadiness or difficulty initiating leg movement
