About the Worx Clinic

In the United States, workers compensation costs more than $100 billion every year in lost wages, lost productivity and medical expense.

As one of the largest employers in the Tooele area, we share your concerns about rising worker’s compensation costs and occupational health needs.

That is why we’ve created the Mountain West Worx occupation health program.

Worx represents a unique partnership between employers in the Tooele area and Mountain West Medical Center and its affiliated physicians and clinical services.

The Worx Occupational Healthy program offers a variety of services needed to keep your workforce health, productive and on the job.

For Employers

Call 435-843-3677 today and learn how Mountain West Worx can help your business stay productive – and keep your employees on the job.

Let’s Talk.

We recognize that communication is one of the most critical steps in managing industrial injuries and the return-to-work process.

But in healthcare, communication often isn’t easy, and without careful attention, gaps can occur. That’s why we’ve put in place a resource to consistently and pro-actively bridge those gaps for you: The Worx Care Coordination Specialist. This provides a one-call solution for most of your information needs.

More than Just Injury Care

But there’s more to us than just injury care. Our team of highly trained clinical specialists can manage all of your healthcare needs, from preplacement physical exams to comprehensive drug testing and wellness screening.

We’re working to reduce health costs and encourage healthy lifestyles in our community. In addition to screening and testing, we can provide a whole menu of educational and monitoring services, from health fairs to nutrition counseling to smoking cessation and weight management.

In addition to the Worx ‘walk-in’ clinic we also have extended our services to include the Mountain West Medical Center’s full-service emergency room.

And should your employees need further care we have a network of carefully selected physicians, linked with the same communication and care coordination process so you stay involved, every step of the way.
