Since volunteering as a Candy Striper in her teens, Sandee has dedicated her life to the care and health of patients. Working as a Registered Nurse since 1998, in both a hospital and a private cardiology practice, she has over twenty years of experience in Cardiology and has learned the importance of focusing on individuals and their unique needs.
Sandee received her degree from University of Southern Indiana and has been a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner since 2015. She loves being part of the University of Utah Outreach Program, bringing specialized cardiovascular care to rural communities. She says it's been a pleasure to be able to develop relationships with so many diverse people.
Many people are afraid or unsure when learning they have a heart condition. It is her goal to help patients understand their conditions, test results, and all of the treatment options. She offers state of the art care while balancing cost and convenience. Sandee believes that good communication with you, your primary care provider, and other specialists is an important part of effective treatment.
